I have heard so many good things about the 300 Weatherby Magnum. I often wonder if I should have bought one instead of my 300 Win Mag. The 300 Win Mag I purchased three years ago has been shot at three elk and all three went down right away with one shot, though. One at over 200 yards. Still I read great things about the 300 Weatherby Magnum.
I hope others will chime in about these two guns, or others they prefer.
