Considering a first time diy elk hunt

by Joey
(Bridge City, TX)

Just wondering about places to hunt. I have looked at several states wildlife dept. sites, and it seems like Idaho has pretty high hunter success rates and licenses available over the counter for out-of-staters. It is a long way to travel from south Texas, but it seems like the best choice so far.
