Guide J.A. eagerly accepted our down payment to guide my father and I the first rifle season in unit 18. Monday before the season opened, he called to inform us he got kicked off the ranch he was leasing. The story he told us was someone left a gate open and the rancher accused J. so he got booted from the ranch. Numerous calls/texts from my father have gotten us nowhere. He still has our money and once when we called him, someone else answered his phone and said J. wasn't able to come to the phone because he was out guiding some hunters. We're from Minnesota so it's not easy to pursue legal action from MN to CO. BE CAREFUL if you hire this guy.
